A story about the Trick or Dick Shirt

I really want to share a story about a t-shirt my boyfriend bought on your website, because honestly… it completely changed the way we met.

It was Halloween last year, and I had just arrived at a party with some friends. The first thing I saw when I walked in was him - this tall, cute guy wearing the most inappropriate shirt I had ever seen in my life. It said “Trick or Dick” with a little ghost flashing his… well, you know. 🙈 My immediate thought was: Ugh, typical guy. Why would anyone wear something like that?

But then I noticed he wasn’t trying to show off or be creepy. He was just laughing with everyone around him, clearly not taking himself too seriously. At one point, he caught me staring (probably with the most judgmental look on my face 😂) and just shrugged, saying, “What can I say? It was this or a banana costume.” That completely broke the ice — I couldn’t help but laugh.

The more we talked, the funnier it got. His shirt became this ongoing joke for the whole night. People kept making comments, and instead of being embarrassed, he rolled with it. By the end of the evening, I had totally forgotten my first impression. Instead of being “the guy in the offensive shirt,” he became “the guy who made me laugh so hard I cried.”

Fast forward to today — we’ve been together ever since. And yes, he still has the shirt. I swear he wears it just to remind me how we met. Honestly, I never thought a ridiculous Halloween tee could start something real, but here we are. So thank you for making the shirt that turned out to be the weirdest, funniest, and most unexpected beginning of our relationship. 🖤👻
